Planning for 2022 Raya Collection was a very challenging process as the planning started in 2021 when the entire nation was in MCO state. Celebrations like Raya Aidilfitri and Chinese New Year were not allowed fully, and that was a major impact to how we have always celebrated these major events – no balik kampung mood or visiting among relatives, friends and colleagues.
However, for 2022 we managed to collaborate with local renowned fashion designer, Rico Rinaldi to curate a small selection of very classic baju kurungs. Through this collaboration, we hope to give our customers a piece of designer-based Raya clothes, while maintaining our affordable price. The collection was a great hit, thanks to the overwhelming support we received!
Not to be missed, we churned out our huge annual signature Raya4All collection consisting of jubahs and classic kurung sets in all the colors you can imagine. Small floral prints set on classic cuttings was the idea – simple yet it gives a light and cheerful mood to the wearer, an objective we hope to achieve.
The finale of Mis Claire Raya 2022 collection was in the inspired form of sweet nostalgia of our Malaysian childhood. The Ceria Raya collection reminds you of all the snacks relating to happy memories of yesteryears. Crafted with a lightweight, easy-iron and wrinkle-free material, it is cooling enough for our local weather.
Response was overwhelming for these adorable printed baju kurungs. We guess everyone was looking forward to a Cheer-ia Raya this 2022 after 2 years of not being able to properly celebrate.
2022 to us is all about classic cuts and simplicity, but with a hint of cheerfulness to a new year and new norm!
To be able to once again, see our customers (both new and familiar loyal ones!) dress up in #iwearmisclaire (with all the Raya celebration, and background of their kampung especially!) is indeed a milestone for us. We hope that Mis Claire have brought you all the joy in search for your baju Raya and will continue to be your go-to place for many more years to come.
Everybody and every “body” is celebrated here!
